Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Shutdown Execution and SIMOPS Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute shutdown scopes on a high-profile offshore gas development project in Qatar. This role is pivotal in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery of shutdowns while managing SIMOPS activities across interfaces with operations and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed shutdown execution plans in alignment with company and project requirements.
- Lead SIMOPS coordination between construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
- Interface with COMPANY Operations to align shutdown windows, permit-to-work systems, and start-up schedules.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and PTW protocols during all SIMOPS activities.
- Report directly to the Brownfield and Tie-in Construction Manager.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in offshore shutdown execution roles, ideally in brownfield environments.
- Deep understanding of SIMOPS methodology and risk management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across operations, construction, and commissioning.
- Prior experience in Qatar or the Middle East region preferred.
