Responsibilities:
- Define stress design basis and ensure compliance with client specs, standards, and load cases.
- Prepare critical line lists, schedules, and oversee stress analysis using CAESAR II (dead weight, thermal, vibration, blast, fatigue, transportation, etc.).
- Provide stress solutions for topside/deck piping and major equipment (compressors, pumps, turbines, vessels, exchangers).
- Select spring hangers, expansion joints, and special supports; prepare data sheets and stress reports.
- Review vendor drawings, check IFC isometrics, and ensure piping loads are within limits.
- Collaborate with piping leads and other disciplines for integrated solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 12+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas FPSO/offshore/petrochemical/refinery projects.
- 5+ years as Piping Stress/Lead Engineer on FPSO or offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of ANSI/ASME/API; familiarity with NORSOK/UKCS/Australian standards.
- Proficient in piping layout/design, supports, and tools (E3D/S3D).
- Good interface knowledge across process, structural, naval, and safety engineering.
- Strong communication skills; MS Office proficiency.
